1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the WeedFree application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and WeedFree ("we," "us," or "our"). Your continued use of the App after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
WeedFree is a personal wellness and cannabis cessation tracking application that provides:
- A sobriety counter and elapsed-time tracker
- Money-saved calculator based on user-entered spending data
- Withdrawal and recovery timeline information
- Daily check-in and mood logging tools
- Dream journal
- Craving management tools (SOS feature)
- Shareable milestone cards
- Gamification features including streaks, XP, and achievements
- Premium analytics and insights (subscription required)
WeedFree is not a medical service. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content within the App — including milestone descriptions, withdrawal timelines, and recovery information — is for general informational and motivational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical guidance related to substance use or mental health.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use WeedFree. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 17 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
We do not knowingly provide services to persons under 17. If we become aware that a user is under 17, we will terminate their access.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 Subscription Plans
WeedFree Pro is available on the following plans (current pricing is displayed in the App at time of purchase):
- Monthly — billed monthly, auto-renewing
- Yearly — billed annually, auto-renewing
4.2 Free Trial
WeedFree may offer a free trial period. The trial duration will be disclosed before you provide payment. Your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it expires.
4.3 Auto-Renewal
Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
4.4 Billing via App Store
All purchases are processed through Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase. We do not directly handle or store payment card information.
4.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by Apple's refund policy.
4.6 Restore Purchases
If you reinstall the App or switch devices, use the "Restore Purchases" option in Settings. Restoration is subject to your Apple ID account.
4.7 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the App
- Attempt to circumvent the paywall or subscription system
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
- Scrape or harvest data from the App through automated means
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — are owned by WeedFree and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use only.
Content you create within the App (check-in notes, journal entries) is stored locally on your device. You retain ownership of that content.
7. Disclaimers
THE APP IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT. INFORMATION PROVIDED IN THE APP, INCLUDING WITHDRAWAL TIMELINES AND RECOVERY MILESTONES, IS FOR INFORMATIONAL AND MOTIVATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. ALWAYS SEEK THE ADVICE OF A QUALIFIED HEALTHCARE PROVIDER WITH ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE REGARDING SUBSTANCE USE, ADDICTION, OR MENTAL HEALTH.
WeedFree does not guarantee any specific results from using the App. Individual outcomes vary. The App is a self-tracking tool, not a clinical treatment program.
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WEEDFREE AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $50 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WeedFree and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) your infringement of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to assume exclusive control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense of that claim.
10. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with third-party services, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:
- Apple App Store — payment processing and app distribution
- RevenueCat — subscription management (privacy policy)
- Superwall — paywall infrastructure (privacy policy)
- Mixpanel — anonymous analytics (privacy policy)
We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services.
11. Apple App Store Terms
These Terms are between you and WeedFree only, not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not liable for any claims relating to the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.
Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately. Because all your data is stored locally on your device, termination does not result in any server-side deletion. Your subscription will continue until the end of the current billing period in accordance with Apple's policies. Termination does not entitle you to a refund beyond Apple's standard refund policy.
13. Your Privacy Rights
EU and UK Users (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Restriction — request that we limit processing of your data
Because WeedFree stores all user data locally on your device and does not transmit it to our servers, most data rights are exercisable directly through the App (e.g., deleting the App removes all locally stored data). To submit a formal request or for data held by third-party processors (RevenueCat, Mixpanel), contact us at support@weedfree.xyz.
California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (a) know what personal information is collected about you; (b) request deletion of your personal information; and (c) opt out of the sale of your personal information.
WeedFree does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. All primary usage data is stored locally on your device. To submit a California privacy request, contact us at support@weedfree.xyz.

14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in Florida.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER: YOU AND WEEDFREE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS ACTION OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.
You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by notifying us in writing at support@weedfree.xyz within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
